” As an artist and designer, it’s my job to tempt failure everyday. It’s not that I’m looking to stumble or I am seeking financial ruination, but not tempting failure would be lead me finding a gimmick, a trick that people like – then rolling that trick out again and again and again. Society tell us this is good – the goal even. But “people pleasing” leads to losing your own way and, ultimately, boredom. It’s my job to make myself happy, to make work I love and, If I doo a good job, others will love it as well or they won’t – hence, tempting failure every day, but I’d rather risk it all on love every day because love always pays off.” – James Victore
Does this image work aesthetically or compositionally? Does it follow any of the photography rule out there? Many including myself will probably say no. I really don’t care to know because I love. It is what I had in mind when I left home that day. The final image is what I wanted and achieved and it is one of my personal favourites. Photography is a medium with so much freedom to create and rules are guides. Although they are very helpful when we start, in order to grow it is important to create away from any constraint. It is the only way that I have found to create work that I love and there is no better feeling.

Full ack! 👍
Both aesthetically and compositionally it does it for me. It does it for me just fine. Matter of fact, I think it’s kind of spectacular and its utter simplicity. Oh, yeah, and then there’s the amazing tone.
Many thanks Micheal

Thank you Paula
