Today I would like to share with with a trailer of a film by Wim Wenders and Julian Salgado called The Salt of the Earth.
A film based on Sebastião Salgado work and his mission through his work. If you’ve seen his Genesis exhibition, you will see that the clear message throughout is that our planet is the most pressing and universal issue through our time.
The exact same message is clearly emphasised in this film.
Sebastião Salgado has never been a photojournalist and neither had he ever been the guy with a camera. He understood his purpose and the impact of his work from early on and used photography as his tool.
