The balancing act – Life and photography

For the past several months, it has been hard balancing everything in life let alone photography. There’s been moving, settling in etc… Strangely, it is only when you are moving that you realise that you have way too many things and may be should be clearing more often but it doesn’t usually happen.

I feel like that I am a stage right now that point and shoot just isn’t enough anymore. Each time, I take such images, they either sit on a hard drive and get forgotten about or i just discard them entirely.

But what appeals to me and makes it exciting is for me to have a story behind it. For me to know exactly what I’d like to achieve before I even head out and most importantly for me to know how I would I achieve it.

However, these kind of work require planning and time and that’s where it gets quite tricky. Who else feels like 24 hours in a day sometimes isn’t just enough?

At the moment, I am juggling my 24hours minus the 8 hours of sleep required (we all do require our beauty sleep after all)  until I find solution.

In the meantime, I try to make the most of my weekends.
